Erin Vogel joins RealTime Racing for upcoming GT World Challenge America campaign

She made history in 2021, becoming the first woman to win in GT3 in SRO. Now she's ready for the next step: Erin Vogel has joined the Acura NSX program with RealTime Racing and will return to GT World Challenge America alongside teammate Michael Cooper in 2022.

#THROWBACKTHURSDAY Did you guys know (or remember) that last year I completed in the longest off-road rally in the US? 1600 miles from Tahoe to Glamis, it is a precision navigation rally, but definitely also included its fair share of precision driving! My partner and I got a top 10 finish our first year out, as well as clinching the Rookie of the Year trophy for the highest placing rookie team.  Erin is Shift Up Now Athlete - joining the motorsports initiative uniting female racers together across the world. As an Athlete, she serves as an ambassador of Shift Up Now, and as a mentor for up-and-coming female racers.

Erin is on the Advisory Board of Athena Racing, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing free educational programs to young women of middle and high school ages. She also volunteers her time as a mentor, speaker, and educator for Athena’s Fab Camp, a summer program that gives girls the chance to learn fabrication techniques in a hands-on setting, and is involved in many other training and education initiatives with Athena’s CEO, Loxley Brown. Last fall, Erin and her navigator Sara Swenson raised over $5,000 for Athena Racing during their competition in the Rebelle Rally - North America’s longest off-road navigation rally, which is exclusively for teams of female drivers and navigators.
